OPERA AS CINEMATIC LANGUAGE
Opera meets epic cinema
Original operatic works bringing the human voice, orchestra and dramatic storytelling into dialogue with cinema.
FOUR VIRTUES
Four original operatic works exploring the inner forces that shape human behaviour: courage, gratitude, patience and humility. Each composition reimagines a cinematic moment through voice and orchestra, transforming internal emotion into operatic drama.
COURAGE
An operatic reimagining inspired by Gladiator

In Courage, the grandeur and brutality of the Colosseum are reimagined through the dramatic language of opera. Voice and orchestra embody combat, honour and survival: the soprano becomes the warrior’s cry, while the orchestra strikes with the force of blades against armour. Bringing ancient spectacle and cinematic storytelling together, the work demonstrates opera’s enduring power to express human conflict on its largest emotional scale.
Music and orchestration: Nelson Olivares

GRATITUDE
An operatic reflection inspired by Schindler’s List
